Pitcher: His greatness began at an early age as Jim won 5
consecutive Junior Boys World Championships (1989-1993). In those 5 tournaments, Jim had a record
of 60 wins and no losses; he did not lose a single game and averaged 84.0%
ringers. His junior career included
a World Tournament perfect game, a 24-shoe effort against Lucas Ives in 1993.
Jim has qualified 15 times
for the WT Men's Championship Class (through 2014). He has never placed out of the top ten
and 11 times has placed in the top five. In those years, his ringer average has
been 74.12%.
Jim is a two-time Ohio
State Champion (1993, 2001) and was elected to the Ohio State Hall of fame in
2002.
