Promoter/Organizer: Steve was appointed NHPA Regional Director in 1994 and still serves in that capacity. He received the Gene & Mary VanSant Regional Director of the Year Award in 2007. As the NHPA moved into the computer age, Steve became involved on a national basis (and in Canada) by assisting charters in establishing their websites. He has served as the NHPA Webmaster since 1999. In 2000 Steve was honored with the Stokes Memorial Award.

It is impossible to list all the various projects and improvements Steve has completed to improve the service provided by the NHPA Website. A couple noteworthy ones are the many hours he spent scanning the entire 32 years’ worth of News Digest magazines which are now available for viewing on the NHPA Website and providing the daily updates on the website of each year's World Tournament. Steve passed away on August 20, 2020.
