Player: For years Laura Lanham, from Bloomington, Illinois, was known only as Mrs. C.A. Lanham as was the practice in the early years. Laura pitched in seven World Tournaments, won six World Championships, and placed second in the other event, losing by only one game. Her career record is 79 wins and 4 losses. She was the second lady to be inducted to the Hall of Fame.
