Promoter/Organizer: Will enjoyed a career as a sports reporter and writer. His paper, The Fargo Forum, afforded more sports page space for horseshoe pitching than probably any newspaper in the country. In the 1960s and 70s, Will was editor of the Double Ringer publication which served the upper Midwest. He brought the 1967 World Tournament to Fargo, North Dakota and served as Tournament Director. Will served as Danny Kuchcinski's personal manager, scheduling pitching exhibition across the country, including an appearance on the Johnny Carson Tonight Show. He was elected NHPA Vice President in 1966, was MGSHPA President in 1968-69, elected to the MGSHPA Hall of Fame in 1979, and recipient of the Stokes Memorial Award in 1967. Will passed away on January 8, 1990, just shy of his 63rd birthday.
