Horseshoes is a family sport. It's one of the few sports that has a national championship for men, women, boys and girls and can still be played in a backyard or at a picnic. Played by young and old, it's played outdoors, indoors, all year-round.

Physical fitness. It's great exercise. You walk, bend and reach. And having a great time while you're doing it.

Competition. No matter what your age, sex or physical shape, you can participate in a good, clean competition. In backyards, leagues and tournaments!

Social events. While horseshoe tournaments are highly competitive, many think of them as social events interrupted by horseshoe pitching.
