Ted Allen Wins Stokes Memorial Award:
"Mary Stokes, wife of our beloved President of yesteryear, Arch Stokes, was on hand, along with her daughter Maurine Cook and her son-in law Arvin Cook, to present the Stokes Memorial Award.
Ted Allen of Boulder, Colorado, ten times World Champion, who has been active in promoting the game for more than 30 years and has given the game so much prestige and publicity during the year, received the award for 1963.
Everyone was most happy to see the Stokes family in attendance again.
