Ron joined his first league in 1971, became a NHPA Member in 1981 and has been working to promote our sport even since. He was director of all Dormont Club sponsored tournaments from 1982-1994, Well over 100 individual events); served as President of the WPHPA from 1985-2002 and also served as Secretary-Treasure from 1995-2002;headed up the WPHPA delegates for ten years. Ron also was involved in countless efforts to bring the sport to the youth, the disadvantaged children, worked with Judge Brosky in his youth program with the Boys & Girls Club. In 2000, Dave Loucks appointed Ron to serve on the Hall of Fame Committee; he still serves in the capacity.
