Jeff has been around organized horseshoe pitching since the age of 3 years old. He played in his first tournament in 1976 as a 7 year old. Jeff has been an active participant in the Wisconsin charter for over 30 years. He was the tournament director for the 1993 State Tournament in Fond Du Lac, WI and has been a member of the WHPA Hall of Fame Committee. Jeff recently compiled all pitcher statistics from every Wisconsin State Tournament since the WHPA became an NHPA Charter in 1967. He has been the director of Team World tournaments and is recognized for his time and effort he has put into promoting horseshoe pitching and being tournament director of an outstanding horseshoe pitching tournament, Team World.
