Player: Roland was born February 7, 1912, and as a child had been a polio victim, his left arm was left useless. He went on to win nine Kansas State Championships. He pitched in 31 state tournaments and had twelve 2^nd place finishes. His World Tournament career reaches from 1940 through 1955 and he had 11 Championship appearances, winning 189 games with a career ringer average of 72.53%. Roland passed away February 23, 1982.
