Player: Amy is from a family involved in horseshoe pitching and is married to her husband, Alan Francis.  Since 1992, Amy has participated in the Women's Championship Division a total of 24 times.  She has not won the World Championship but finished second in 2000, 2001 and 2003.  She finished third in 1995, 1998 and 1999.  She finished fourth in 1996 and 2002, and fifth in 2006.  For the period of 1998 through 2003 Amy never finished less than fourth.  She has averaged over 81% for the Championship finals three times and in the high 70's at least five times.  In 1996, Amy pitched two consecutive 90% games.  In 2002 she defeated Joan Elmore by a score of 42-23 and threw 105 ringers out of 118 shoes for 89%.  She skunked Vicki Winston in the 1995 Championship Finals throwing over 87%.  Amy has won four Class Championships at WT’s.
