Player: Dean Brown was born in Colorado and in 1923 moved to California. Dean was a four time California State Champion (1926, 1928, 1938 and 1939) which is quite a feat considering that Guy Zimmerman and Fernando Isais were part of the competition. From 1934 - 1959, Dean qualified for the Championship Class 13 times and accumulated 259 wins on a career average of 74.79% ringers. He had a top ten finish in 1940, averaging 79.1%, and placed 6th in 1950. Dean passed away May 11, 1968 at age 60.
