Organizer: Jack Adams, born October 18, 1921, in Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan, Canada and his father, Arthur Adams is a NHPA Hall of Fame
inductee. He began pitching at age
12 and in 1938, won the Saskatchewan Junior Boy’s Tournament. In 1945 he won the Maritime Provinces Men’s
Championship. In 1960 Jack became NHPA
Regional Director for Canada and served in that capacity for 32 years,
1971-2003. He served for over 40
years on the Canadian Executive Council, serving in one capacity or another,
including 12 years as President.
