1. Spade or Grub-stake.
2. Hoe.
3. Pail or Sprinkling Can.
4. 8 Gunny sacks or 24"x24" Rubberoid Roofing.
5. Extra load of clay for filling.

THE GOPHER HORSESHOE CLUB
of
Minneapolis, Minnesota.

PREAMBLE
     Knowing that the game of Horseshoe Pitching affords better exercise, both as a competitive sport and as a leisure-time activity, to the greatest number of people of all ages and at less cost than any other game in the world; and
     With a desire to promote the game of Horseshoe Pitching, the mutual aims of all those interested in the game, to encourage clean sportsmanship, that the game as a recreational activity may be elevated and encouraged, we do establish this constitution of "The Gopher Horseshoe Club" of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Article 1.-Name
     This organization shall be known as "The Gopher Horseshoe Club, Inc."
Article II --Incorporation.
     This organization is incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota.
Article III. - Affiliation.
     1. This organization is affiliated with "The National Horseshoe Pitchers' Association, Inc." and "The Minnesota State Horseshoe Pitchers' Association, for purposes of mutual encouragement and welfare.
Article IV. - Jurisdiction.
     The Gopher Horseshoe Club claims jurisdiction over Horseshoe matters that legitimately belong to it in the Powderhorn Park District.
Article V. - Membership and Dues.
     1. Any person living in the Powderhorn Park District is entitled to membership in this Club.
     2. Individual membership dues shall be one dollar per year.
     3. The dues shall be paid in advance and shall entitle the individual to one year's subscription to the official organ of the National Horseshoe Pitchers' Association., Inc. A certificate of membership and all the rights, titles and privileges to its members.
     4. The official paper of the National Horseshoe Pitchers' Association is "The Horseshoe World" published monthly at London, Ohio.
     5. Fifty cents of each membership due shall be forwarded, with the name and address of the new member to "The Horseshoe World."
